Tax season opened 01 July 2010 and you don’t want to be left with fines due to late submissions.
The key dates you need to diarise are the following:

  • 01 September – 29 October 2010: PAYE interim (biannual) Reconciliation 
  • 30 September 2010: Deadline for postal submissions / SARS drop box for provisional and non-provisional individuals and trusts.
  • 26 November 2010: Deadline for e-filing / branch submissions for non-provisional individuals and trust taxes.
  • 31 January 2011: Deadline for e-filing / branch submissions for provisional individual and trust taxes.
